I decided to
try juice fasting for the second time after my gum started to swell really
bad. I don't know precisely why I had frequent gum problem but for that
time, I was pretty sure I had eaten way too much of greasy and spicy food
a week ago. I chose juice fasting over seeing doc to save my annual leave
and also my company medical expense ( wow what a great employee am I :D )
.
The first
and second day of my second attempt was pretty much the same as my
previous experience. I continued to feel really awful to suddenly quit
eating delicious food while having painful swollen gum. On the third
day, that's when thing changed to the better side, my gum problem was
almost healed, I had a very clear mind and sharp eyesight , my mood
was fantastic and I was in a state of total peace and bliss, I also
felt "spiritually enlightened in some ways as if nobody would be able
to provoke or irritate me. It was one of best days of 2006 and that
feeling carried though the fourth day.
Unfortunately, I
did skip a couple of nights of "juice dinner" because our juice
blender was suddenly malfunctioned, and this has caused me to catch a
cold due to possible lack of vitamin . I had to stop the juice fasting
on the fifth day because I could longer drink any more fresh juice to
replenish my "vitamin deficit"..
All in all , it was wonderful feeling again to get to the state of
the 3rd and 4th day and most importantly, my gum problem was fully
healed on the fifth day, therefore I can almost draw a conclusion here
that juice fasting is an effective way to cleanse and heal a person's
body and mind.
Due
to my second success on juice fasting, I strongly encourage all the
readers to try it out for 4 days but be sure to drink lots of fresh
juice if you do not want a really bad runny nose .
